My family and I went to solar gardens for a late mothers day celebration. The food was fantastic although pricey for the portion sizes. A full pizza per person is needed for a normal appetite. They have wonderful ingredients but range between 15 to 20 dollars a pizza. The property itself can be quite confusing and disorganized you have to explore to find the cafe and be seated. We also bought succulents (which are gorgeous) and soil after the meal but had a hard time finding an employee to ring us through. All in all great food, be ready for a slow pace, great plants, but the con would disorganized structure and some parts of the property look a little like a junk yard. Seems like the place is still a work in progress but it was definitely a unique experience.

We have been out to Solar Gardens twice because we heard they have good pizza. This first time we went, the pizza was good but the service was terrible. The second time we went, the food was mediocre and the service was still terrible. We waited a really long time for someone to take our order, to the point that we thought they forgot about us. Then once our food came, nobody ever came back to check in or ask us if we wanted anything else. Someone pointed out to me one of the owners, who I would have expected to be friendly, but he was not friendly and was in fact a bit confrontational. We will not be back.

Wonderful evening with family and friends celebrating an 80th birthday. Solar Gardens went above and beyond what we expected. Beautiful Solarium with access to covered deck. Amazing food that all ages enjoyed-the stools for the kids at the MYOP table was a considerate gesture! The yard is a working farm as they state but that seems to fade into the background...Thanks Chris and Solar Gardens staff for the memorable evening!!

The succulent class was great and very informative. The sangria was good but the food was just okay and the service was also nothing to write home about.

I phoned solar gardens to privately address a matter of their replies to my sister on a facebook post for an honest review of our negative experience there (for reference, this is the content of the original review "Gorgeous place to visit, but not event friendly. We had an incredibly frustrating experience hosting an event there recently and would not recommend it as an event venue" and they chose to hang up on me in the middle of the call. My sister had called me earlier in tears at the things that they had responded, and I wanted to ensure that they knew how negatively their comments had affected her without airing their dirty laundry in public, so to speak. I called their responses deplorable and hurtful, (with no personal attacks against the character of any of the employees) and asked how they felt they were justified in posting such comments in a public forum. They then proceeded to refuse to answer subsequent calls. I did not want to escalate this further by posting negatively on social media and instead wanted to address my frustrations and potentially come to a resolution over the phone, but unfortunately I see no other option.Throughout their response, they called my sister slanderous, malicious, deceitful, unscrupulous, a liar, and a mean girl. They attacked her character, credibility, and own personal experience. This was my bridal shower, and I am absolutely devastated that this is the aftermath of what was supposed to be a beautiful memory all because a business is unable to respond professionally to negative reviews that are an individual's own subjective opinion of their experience. No, not every person is perfect, nor is every business or every event, however responses such as these to customers are unacceptable by a reputable business. I urge you to consider whether their values reflect the values that you as a patron expect from a business owner.
